Burglary with violence in Strathpine, QLD

Detectives have declared a crime scene at a home in Strathpine after five people allegedly entered the house on Charlor Street, armed with weapons.

Initial investigations indicate at 1.30am the occupants of the house were woken by the group who then allegedly had a verbal argument with the residents.

One of the occupants was allegedly threatened with what appeared to be a firearm, before the group left in a silver Mitsubishi Lancer.

Police are appealing for anyone in the vicinity of Charlor Street who may have CCTV footage, or who may have seen the silver Mitsubishi with front end damage, to contact them.

Investigations are ongoing.
