RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility, Active fire may occur close to the roadside , Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside.
WHAT TO DO: Conditions may change, monitor conditions in your area.
ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: Firefighting crews with support from firefighting aircraft have slowed forward spread of the fire. It is still burning internally South of Litchfield Park Road and North of Chin Road. Traffic management will be in place on Litchfield Park Road until 1900hrs, 11th of September. People travelling in the area are advised to slow down and ensure their headlights are turned on.
