RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility, Active fire may occur close to the roadside, Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside.
ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: Bushfires NT advises that the Marrakai Volunteer Bushfire Brigade will be conducting a planned burn on the western side of Marrakai Road, opposite the 47 mile track today, commencing at 4:00 pm.
