Northern Territory Police are seeking information regarding a serious assault in Tennant Creek early this morning.
Just before 5am the Joint Emergency Services Communications Centre received a report of a robbery on Ambrose Street.
It was reported that a group of 5 males forced their way into a caravan and assaulted the occupant with iron bars after threatening the man and demanding money.
The offenders then ransacked the caravan and stole some items before leaving.
St John Ambulance also attended the scene and conveyed the man to the Tennant Creek Base Hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
