Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a vehicle was seen driving through the gates of the Alice Springs Police Compound yard overnight.
About 3am, police were notified of a white hatchback driving through the compound yard, before it was last seen driving north along Stuart Highway.
Local police responded, confirming a previously recovered stolen motor vehicle, a white Honda sedan, NT registration CC47VT was missing and there was extensive damage to the compound gate.
Police are investigating the incident and urging anyone who may have information or know the whereabouts of the vehicle to make contact on 131 444 and quote job number P23362252.
