Cannabis crop found inside Burton home

Police located a cannabis crop being grown hydroponically in a house at Burton yesterday.

About 4pm on Monday 23 March, SA Power Networks technicians attended a Burton house to cut power to the address and found the electricity supply had been tampered with.

Northern District Police attended and located 134 cannabis crops growing within the premises.

Three rooms contained large cannabis plants close to harvest and officers also found about 1.5 kilograms of dried cannabis for sale.

No one was found at the house and investigations are continuing to locate the people responsible for the crop.
