The City of Casey’s online Volunteer Matcher portal has been helping not for profit and community organisations across Casey find volunteers throughout this much needed time.
The website is a one-stop portal for volunteering in Casey where not for profit organisations can advertise volunteer opportunities and residents can view all of the opportunities available.
With over 4,000 community members registered to volunteer, Council is encouraging non-for profits in Casey to sign up and share volunteer opportunities, as the community continues to overcome challenges brought on by COVID-19 and supporting community members in need.
Council is also encouraging community members to jump online and check out the opportunities available. With nearly 300 not for profit organisations registered on the website, many volunteer opportunities can still go ahead with the assistance of personal protective equipment and technology such as online forums or tutoring, to ensure all volunteers safety.
