Cash, drugs and imitation firearms seized after Narre Warren intercept

Operations Response Unit officers seized cash, drugs and imitation firearms during a routine intercept in Narre Warren yesterday.

Officers conducted a routine intercept on the Princes Highway just before 10am and allegedly located drugs believed to be cannabis, a large amount of cash and imitation firearms.

A 40-year-old Narre Warren man was charged with traffick cannabis, possess a drug of dependence, possess cannabis, five counts of possess imitation firearm and other related offences.

He was remanded in custody to appear at court today.

Operations Response Unit officers also executed a warrant at a Narre Warren address later that day and located a large amount of cash, drugs and imitation firearms.

Two women aged 19 and 40 were arrested and are both expected to be charged on summons at a later date.
