The Federal Government has delivered on its promise to abolish the cashless debit card (CDC). CDU Lecturer in Social Work Dr Steven Roche, who has done extensive research into the impact of the CDC, says research and evaluation of the CDC have consistently found that the benefits of the CDC have been negligible and at times harmful.
