CCTV images released after sexual touching in Broadway

Police have released CCTV images and are appealing for public assistance following an alleged sexual touching at Broadway last month.

About 12pm on Monday 16 December 2019, a large group of primary school students were waiting for a bus outside a shopping centre on Bay Street, when they were approached by a man.

The man walked away, entering the nearby shopping centre and police were notified.

Officers from Leichhardt Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the incident.

Investigators have now released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man depicted is wearing a green short-sleeved shirt and shorts, sandals, and a red cap with ‘NOVA 969’ logo on the front.
