CCTV released after $15,000 worth of cigarettes stolen, NSW

Police investigating the theft of $15,000 worth of cigarettes in Sydney’s west have released CCTV in an appeal for public assistance.

Just before 2am yesterday (Wednesday 9 October 2019), two men broke into a supermarket inside a shopping complex on James Cook Drive at Kings Langley.

The two men then stole approximately $15,000 worth of cigarettes before fleeing the scene on foot.

Officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

Police have released CCTV footage of two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

One man has been described as about 170cm tall, with tattoos on his left leg, and wearing cream shorts and a black hooded jumper.

The second man has been described as wearing dark long pants, black hooded jumper and a dark backpack.
