CCTV released as police continue to investigate a business break-in and stolen car – Dubbo

Police have released CCTV as they continue to investigate a business break-in and a stolen car in the state’s Central West earlier this year.

Officers received reports a white Holden Maloo was stolen from a business on Fitzroy Street, Dubbo, between 5.10pm Wednesday 28 February 2024 and 7am on Thursday 29 February 2024.

In another incident, between 2.30pm on Saturday 18 May 2024 and 8am on Sunday 19 May 2024, police received reports a blue Holden Utility was stolen from a carpark on Wingewarra Street, Dubbo.

Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District have commenced an investigation into the two incidents, which they believe are linked.

Police have released CCTV of a person exiting a silver Volvo SUV near the blue Holden Utility that may be able to assist police with their inquiries.

The person is described as wearing a red and black jacket with a grey hood, black pants and white shoes.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information about these incidents, or has dashcam or CCTV from the areas is urged to contact Dubbo Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
