Celsius Property Group takes on Longest Day golf challenge

Celsius Property Group Managing Director, Richard Pappas, sadly lost his father to cancer at just 63 years of age. Mr Pappas has decided to take on The Longest Day challenge in tribute to his father with business partners Matt Evans, Travis McKenzie and Tim Groseeach, each of whom has been impacted by cancer in some way.

The Longest Day is open to all to register. It is the ultimate golf challenge designed to test skill, strength and stamina. The challenge is to successfully complete either two, three or four rounds of golf from dawn to dusk and raise funds for Cancer Council WA to continue funding life-saving research, prevention programs and support services.

Teeing off bright and early at Cottesloe Golf Club on Monday 21 December, Mr Pappas and his team mates aim to complete 72 holes and raise an incredible $10,000.

“72 holes will be a real challenge of stamina, endurance and mental strength, but is nothing compared to a battle with cancer,” Mr Pappas said.

“We think The Longest Day is a great cause to raise desperately needed funds and awareness to a great cause whilst paying tribute to some of the people we know who have or currently are battling cancer”.

Mr Pappas and his team invite anyone who donates to their fundraising page to cheer them on for the final fairway as they crawl up the hill of the eighteenth hole.

“Fundraising has been a bit harder this year, so we want to spread the word far and wide,” Mr Pappas says.
