Workplace health and safety (WHS)
Under WHS laws, employers have to do what they can to ensure the health and safety of their workers and others at the workplace. Employees also have responsibilities under those laws.

Changes to government support
It’s been announced that from 14 October the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment will end.
After this date, there will be new financial support available to casual workers in some sectors.
Details of any new financial support will be announced and made available from Services Australia.
