Charge – Domestic violence – Woodroffe

The Northern Territory Police Domestic Family Violence Unit have charged a 29-year-old man following an investigation of an alleged assaulted in Woodroffe on Saturday 18 February 2023.

The arrest occurred after the woman attended the Palmerston Regional Hospital as a result of her serious injuries and Police will allege the man physically assaulted his partner while travelling in a vehicle, before further assaulting her at her residence.

The man is expected to appear in Darwin Local Court on 5 May 2023 after being remanded and charged with unlawfully cause serious harm.
