Aged care specialist and disability support worker, small business owner and former Gosford City Councillor, Dee Bocking is the Liberal candidate for Gosford.
Having spent years supporting local residents, Dee brings a wealth of practical experience and a proven track record of community advocacy.
Through her work helping people every day to overcome the challenges of dealing with government red tape, Dee understands firsthand the importance of accessible local healthcare and front-line support services for the Central Coast.
During her time as a Gosford City Councillor, Dee was a dedicated advocate for local residents, fighting for improved local roads and greater investment in community safety.
“Every day, I see the struggles people across our community are facing under the Labor Government,” Ms Bocking said.
“Local families shouldn’t have to wait long hours in a hospital just to be seen, our seniors shouldn’t have to choose between filling up their car and paying their bills, and Gosford small businesses shouldn’t be forced to pay extra taxes just to employ more workers.
“Labor’s cost-of-living pressures are putting enormous strain on household budgets and making it harder for local small businesses to stay open.
“As a small business owner, I know the harsh financial realities facing local businesses and household budgets under Labor’s cost of living crisis.
“Gosford needs strong leadership and a clear plan to support our businesses and create local jobs, to help family budgets, and to keep our community safe.”
As part of Kellie Sloane’s Liberal team, Dee Bocking will be a tireless local champion for Gosford, campaigning for the critical infrastructure, better healthcare, safer streets, and improved local roads that the region deserves.
