A child has died after being hit by a truck in Sydney’s west this afternoon.
Just after 4pm (Monday 7 December 2020), emergency services were called to Boomerang Place, Cambridge Gardens, following reports a child had been hit by a truck.
The child, believed to be a nine-year-old girl, died at the scene.
Officers from Nepean Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway.
