Civilian employee charged in Southern Region

A NSW Police Force civilian employee has been charged over alleged acts of indecency in the state’s Riverina region.

In January 2020, police commenced an investigation after receiving a report of three acts of indecency allegedly committed by the 59-year-old man between November 2018 and December 2019.

Following extensive investigations, the employee, who is attached to a command in Southern Region, was issued Court Attendance Notices today (Thursday 22 October 2020), for two counts of carry out sexual act with another person without consent, and one count of commit act of indecency.

He is due to appear at Griffith Local Court on Wednesday 16 December 2020.

The man is currently suspended from duty.
