Classic vehicles roll into Queenscliff this November

Experience the joy of classic vehicles against a backdrop of stunning scenery when the Targa Florio Australian Tribute passes through Queenscliff on Thursday 14 November.

The event, now in its third year in Victoria, pays tribute to the historic open road endurance automobile race held in Sicily, Italy for more than seven decades. Drivers in three different categories (Classica, Ferrari, and Supercar) will compete for the title, driving more than 1200kms and completing 70 time trials over four days.

Beginning at Point Danger, Torquay on Thursday 14 November and concluding in Lygon St, Carlton on Sunday 17 November, it is on the Thursday afternoon where spectators in the Borough will get the best chance to see these classic cars on display.

Competitors will be stopping off for lunch at 12:45pm on Thursday 14 November at Queenscliff railway station on the Bellarine Railway, where vehicles will remain for about an hour before driving to the ferry terminal and travelling across the bay to Sorrento to continue their route.
