Computer and gaming equipment theft

Police are seeking to identify a man and a woman as part of their investigation into the theft of $30,000 worth of computer and gaming equipment in March.

Investigators have been told a man and a woman attended a Lonsdale Street shopping complex about 1am on 14 March.

While at the complex, the man entered a tented area that was used to store equipment for an e-sports convention.

The pair then used shopping trollies to transport computer equipment to a nearby silver coupe before leaving the CBD.

As part of their ongoing investigation, investigators have released CCTV of a man and a woman who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The man was perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, middle aged, clean shaven and about 180cms tall.

He was wearing a white fedora hat with a grey overcoat, cream/khaki pants, and white runners with orange and blue stripes.

The woman was also perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and aged in her 60s.

She was wearing a grey or brown jacket, white shirt, a black long skirt and black shoes, and was carrying a pink handbag and wearing black reading glasses.
