Concerns held for missing woman and baby – Sydney’s southwest

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman and baby boy missing from Sydney’s southwest.

Concerns were raised for Abbi Trappel, aged 24, and her four-month-old son Jahbari Williams, after family and friends could not contact her.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command commenced inquiries into their whereabouts and have confirmed she was last seen at a home on Carrington Street, Parramatta, around 7pm (Monday 26 June 2023).

Police and family hold serious concerns for their welfare.

Abbi is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of thin build, between 155cm to 160cm tall, with long brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a grey jumper, trackpants, cream coloured adidas shoes, and carrying a cream bag and a black baby bag.

Jahbari is described as being of African and Caucasian ethnicity, with dark hair and dark skin.

It is believed they may be travelling with a 23-year-old man known to them, who is described as being of African appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with black hair.

Abbi is known to frequent the Sydney’s southwestern suburbs.
