Council has committed more than $1.6 million in support to the Historical Society Cairns North Queensland Inc over the next four years.
The agreement encompasses funding to cover operational costs, in-kind support towards parking and financial services support, and repairs and maintenance requirements.
Almost $405,000 in support will be provided in the 2022/23 financial year.
The commitment builds on more than $1.1 million in funding provided to the Historical Society Cairns North Queensland Inc over the past four years.
