The global COVID-19 response has brought many changes and challenges to our daily lives, but one thing rings true for residents of Maroondah – our sense of community spirit.
“In these uncertain times, we know one thing for certain: kindness is powerful,” Mayor of Maroondah, Councillor Mike Symon, said.
“We know that connections, relationships and networks are more important than ever. Connected communities are stronger communities, where people rally around each other in times of need,” Cr Symon said.
To support our community during this time, Council has joined the Be Kind movement and has launched the Be Kind Maroondah campaign, a campaign aimed at promoting kindness and goodwill, and building the resilience of our community.
