The Queensland Government has set up a Community Recovery response to support Townsville residents who have been impacted by the siege in Kirwan on Sunday night.
From today (14 March) an outreach team with Ready Reserves supported by Red Cross counsellors will conduct follow up visits to neighbours.
These teams can also refer residents to additional support from Lifeline and other local service providers.
