[Sydney, 02 February 2024] – The exclusive virtual presentation will feature an in-depth interview with Governor Bullock, the ninth Governor of RBA and first woman to lead the RBA in its 63-year history.

Audiences will gain rare insight into the vision and aspirations of Governor Bullock, her passion for inclusion, diversity and belonging, and her views on the importance of diverse and equal leadership.

“UN Women Australia is delighted to welcome one of Australia’s most prominent economic leaders for this one-of-a-kind conversation,” said Simone Clarke, CEO, UN Women Australia.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is ‘Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress’, based on the priority theme for the United Nations 68th Commission on the Status of Women, exploring the pathways to greater economic inclusion for women and girls everywhere.

In addition to Governor Bullock’s national conversation, UN Women Australia will be unveiling an inspiring line-up of speakers over the coming weeks across Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth, as well as a live virtual stream of all events on Friday, 8 March 2024.
