COVID-19 forces temporary closure of Dudley Beach Road and carpark

Dudley Beach Road and car park in Glenrock State Conservation Area will be temporarily closed to vehicles to support measures to protect the community from spread of COVID-19.

The closure, as part of the state’s COVID-19 response, will take effect from Friday 3 April from 10pm until further notice.

The move is in line with statewide closures of all NPWS campgrounds and some high-use day visitor areas in national parks across NSW and means that vehicle access to Dudley Beach Road and the car park will not be permitted.

The closure is in response to tighter Australian and NSW Government health directives on social distancing and non-essential travel to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in the wider community, and to support social distancing to protect against the spread of COVID-19.

Patrols in the area will continue and further closures may be required.
