WA Health is reporting a total of 5,538 new cases to 6pm last night. There are currently 33,139 active cases in Western Australia.
To 6pm last night, there were 252 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 8 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes 11 new deaths, dating back to 30 May, which were reported to WA Health yesterday: five women and a man in their 90s, two men and a woman in their 80s, a man in his 70s and a man in his 50s

Of the 5,538 cases, 1,919 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 3,619 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 6,841 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
