Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the Northern Expressway, Buchfelde, near Gawler.
Two cars collided on the Expressway at 7pm on Tuesday 9 November.
The Expressway has been closed to northbound traffic to allow a helicopter to land at the scene but traffic is banked up for some distance.
There are no reports of life-threatening injuries.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible and if you are stuck in the queue, please be patient.
