Northern Territory Police are investigating the death of a child in Tennant Creek today.
Police responded to a call at a residence in Tennant Creek at 9:17am. On arrival an infant was found unresponsive.
Paramedics transported the child to the Tennant Creek Hospital. He was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of the child are underway.
