The death of a 60-year-old man located on Pardoe Road at Wesley Vale yesterday is being treated as not suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Coroner. The next of kin of the man have been notified and the thoughts of Tasmania Police go to the family of this man.
The 37-year-old Launceston man taken into custody has been charged with one count each of Burglary, Stealing, Motor Vehicle Stealing, Trespass and Destroy Property. He will appear at the Launceston Magistrates Court on a later date.
