Major Events Survey

“As a major supporter of local events, we’re also keen to learn from our community, what they think of such activities.”

“At the moment we’re asking people about the impact of the wide variety of major events we’ve recently hosted.”

“This will help us better assess their social and economic value against any less-desirable impacts, such as noise and other disruptions.”

Destination Kiama contracted tourism development consultancy Tilma Group to conduct a review of our major events.

These include the KISS Arts Festival, Winter Festival, Clearly Music and Arts Festival, Changing Tides, Kiama NYE Sky Show and Red Hot Summer Tour (2024).

Residents can have their say by completing our online survey:

Kiama Major Events Residents Survey

The survey closes Sunday 25 February 2024.

The results will assist Tilma Group with their advice to Council on how to maximise the benefits of major events, and how to reduce their impacts.
