Dirt bike stolen from Gepps Cross

Police are investigating the theft of a motorcycle from a showroom at Gepps Cross in the early hours of this morning.

Alarms activated when windows at the Main North Road, Gepps Cross business were smashed at 4.30am on Wednesday 26 January.

When police arrived they found two dirt bikes had been removed from the showroom floor, but one had been left behind.

CCTV shows three men of Caucasian appearance arrived in a silver sedan. They kicked in the front window and stole two green Kawasaki dirt bikes. One of the bikes was abandoned on the front lawn, but the other was ridden off. It was tracked north on Main North Road, then it turned around to head south and was last seen south on Gallipoli Drive.

Crime scene investigators will attend and examine the scene this morning.
