Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man with Murder as part of an investigation into the death of a woman who was located deceased in Doubleview yesterday morning, Saturday 2 January 2021.
About 7:15am the Department of Fire and Emergency Services advised WA Police Force they were responding to a house fire in Ravenscar Street, Doubleview, and requested police attendance at the scene.
A 30-year-old woman was located inside the residence deceased, and her death was deemed to be suspicious.
Yesterday afternoon a man who is known to the victim was arrested.
The 29-year-old Doubleview man has been charged with Murder. He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, Sunday 3 January 2021.
