A man has lost his licence after drink-driving this morning.
Just before 1.30am on Thursday 1 January, police stopped a Toyota station wagon on Sturt Highway and conducted a mobile driver test.
The alleged driver, a 47-year-old man from Lewiston returned a positive reading of 0.228 – over four times the legal limit.
He was reported for drink-driving, issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice and the car was impounded for 28 days.
He will attend court at a later date.
