Drug charges, Cedar Vale

Police have charged two people with multiple drug-related offences after a search of a Cedar Vale residence allegedly uncovered a quantity of drugs and drug utensils.

Around 10am on July 14, police executed a search on the Champney Court property allegedly uncovering 22 cannabis plants. Police also allegedly seized multiple drug-related items including heat lamps and transformers, along with more than $2,000 in cash.

A 28-year-old man was charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, producing dangerous drugs, possessing utensils and possessing relevant substances. He will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 25 September.

A 29-year-old woman was charged with one count of permitting use of place. She will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 24 September.
