Drug seizure at Noarlunga Downs, South Australia

Three people will appear in court today charged with serious drug offences.

About 6pm Thursday 3 February following an investigation, Southern District CIB attended and searched a Noarlunga Downs home. Inside police allegedly located approximately 10 ounces of cocaine, 500g cannabis, about $5000 cash, nine cannabis plants being grown hydroponically, one cannabis plant outdoors, a butterfly knife and a quantity of steroids.

Three people at the address, a 29-year-old Noarlunga Downs man, 30-year-old Noarlunga Downs man and a 26-year-old Maslin Beach woman were arrested and charged with trafficking a commercial of controlled drug, traffic controlled drug, cultivating cannabis, possess prescription drug, possess dangerous article and diverting electricity.

They were all refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today, Friday 4 February.

Police also seized a 2021 Harley Davidson motorbike from the address that is suspected to be a proceed of crime.
