Police from Southern Division 3 Divisional Response Unit have charged a man and a woman after seizing over 280 cannabis plants during a warrant today.
Investigators executed a search warrant under the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act (DPCSA) in Rainer Crescent, Clyde North.
Officers allegedly located a sophisticated hydroponic setup with custom made rooms in a factory.
As officers were processing the scene a 28-year-old St Albans man and a 26-year-old Box Hill woman attended the address.
They were promptly arrested and charged with numerous drug offences including cultivate, traffick and possess a commercial quantity of cannabis and theft.
They have been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
