Drugs seized, woman arrested on outstanding warrants at Bundarra, NSW

A kilogram of cannabis has been seized and a woman charged with outstanding warrants in the state’s Northern Tablelands.

About 1.30pm yesterday (Thursday 20 June 2019), officers attached to New England Police District executed a Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) at an address at Bundarra.

The woman, aged 44, was wanted by police on three outstanding arrest warrants in relation to unrelated matters.

She was located in the main house and taken to Inverell Police Station where she was charged with outstanding warrants.

The FPO was then conducted and over 1kg of cannabis was allegedly found and seized by police.

The woman was refused bail and will appear at Inverell Local Court today (Friday 21 June 2019).

Further inquiries are being made into this matter.
