A man has died following a house fire in Ingle farm this morning.
About 5.15am Wednesday 1 July emergency services were called to Tarana Avenue after reports of a house fire. When emergency services arrived at the scene the home was fully alight.
MFS battled the blaze and were able to quickly bring it under control. Crews then searched the premises and sadly located the body of an 89-year-old man inside.
Police Fire Cause Investigators are at the scene assisting with the investigation, but the fire is not believed to be suspicious. Police will be preparing a report for the Coroner.
