A 45-year-old Highfields man has died after a house fire at a New England Highway address this morning, March 7.
Around 5.50am, police were notified of a house fire at the back of a business in Highfields with one man unaccounted for.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze and one man was found deceased.
Initial investigations indicate it is not suspicious.
A crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing.
