A 28-year-old man who allegedly absconded from Lotus Glen Correctional Centre (Farm) has been arrested and charged.
Around 11.00am today (February 10), Queensland Corrective Services officers located the man at Arriga.
Police then attended and took the man into custody without further incident.
The 28-year-old man has been charged with one count each of escape lawful custody and possess tainted property.
He is expected to appear at Mareeba Magistrates Court tomorrow (February 11).
