Community Engagement and Latrobe City Council
Community engagement is about empowering and amplifying the voice of local people and capturing their expertise and knowledge to assist Council with decisions and actions which benefit the whole community.
Latrobe City Council understands that for some individuals and groups there are challenges, and the establishment of a Disability Access & Inclusion Community Engagement Group will support Council to continue improving equity and inclusion in for older people in our community.
About the Latrobe City Council Disability Access & Inclusion Community Engagement Group
The purpose of this Group is to enable community members and stakeholders to provide input and feedback into the operation of Latrobe City Council services and programs to ensure that the needs of people with disability are considered or addressed.
The establishment of this group forms part of Latrobe City Council’s commitment to community engagement to ensure our work is reflective of the community’s needs and aspirations.
