Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in West Melbourne this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Anderson Road and Appleton Dock Road about 3.50pm after reports a motorcycle and truck had collided.
Ambulance crews treated the motorcycle rider, believed to be a man in his 30s, at the scene but he unfortunately died.
The driver of the truck is currently assisting police with their enquires.
