Major Crash Officers are investigating the circumstances of a crash which claimed the life of a man at McLaren Vale last night.
About 4.15pm, Monday 21 December, police and emergency services were called to a property on Pennys Hil Road at The Range after reports of a car had gone down a steep embankment.
The driver of the car a 86-year-old man from the property was freed from the car and was airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre where sadly he died from his injuries.
This man’s death is the 94th life lost on SA Roads compared to 110 at the same time last year.
