A 77-year-old man has died following a fatal truck crash at Freestone, near Warwick, last night, July 11.
Initial investigations indicate shortly before 6pm, a truck was travelling along Freestone Road when it crashed into a pole near the intersection of Shelley Road.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 77-year-old Wavell Heights man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision or CCTV from the nearby area to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
