Police have charged three men – a Finks OMCG member and two associates – with weapon offences following the execution of a search warrant at Redbank Plains.
Yesterday (March 8) investigators from the Crime and Intelligence Command’s Taskforce Maxima Organised Crime Gangs Group executed a search warrant on a Goldfinch Street address where they located and seized a semi-automatic pistol, OMCG clothing and cannabis utensils.
Three men, a 21-year-old Redbank Plains man and OMCG member, a 21-year-old Redbank Plains man and a 20-year-old Redbank Plains man were charged with unlawful possession of a category H firearm.
The 20-year-old Redbank Plain man was also charged with possession of drug things and possession of anything used in the commission of a crime.
The 21-year-old Redbank Plains man is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court on April 5.
The other two men are both scheduled to appear at the Ipswich Magistrates Court on May 16.
Investigations are continuing.
