Finks OMCG member charged with drug offences, NSW

A high-ranking member of the Finks outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) will appear in court today after Strike Force Raptor seized drugs during a vehicle stop yesterday.

As part of ongoing targeting of illicit activities of criminal groups, Strike Force Raptor detectives conducted a Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) search of a vehicle on the Great Western Highway, Mt Druitt, about 1pm yesterday (Thursday 23 July 2020).

During the search, investigators seized MDMA, which was located in a plastic container under the front passenger seat.

The 21-year-old male driver, who is a senior member of the Finks OMCG, was arrested and taken to Mt Druitt Police Station.

He was charged with possess prohibited drug and supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity).

The Gold Coast man was refused bail to appear before Mt Druitt Local Court today (Friday 24 July 2020).
