Moonee Valley Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a theft from a car and subsequent deceptions this month.
Investigators have been told a parked car was broken into on Princes Street in Flemington sometime between 7-13 August.
A wallet was stolen from the vehicle and the credit cards were used in the CBD, North Melbourne, Brunswick East, Fitzroy and Collingwood areas.
Police have released images of two men they believe can assist with their investigation.
