Fleminton aggravated home invasion

Investigators from Fawkner Wayward Taskforce are investigating following an aggravated home invasion in Flemington last week.

Investigators have been told seven occupants were at the Princess Street home when four male offenders gained entry to the property about 8pm on 20 July.

The offenders, who were armed with knives and baseball bats, threatened the occupants before ransacking the house and attempting to steal laptops and phones.

It’s believed the offenders then fled by jumping the rear fence, dropping all of the items before being pick up by a car on Bignell Street.

Three occupants were assaulted during the ordeal receiving cuts and bruises, they were taken to hospital for treatment.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or seen any suspicious persons or vehicle loitering in the area to come forward.

The offenders were perceived to be African in appearance and aged in their 20s.
