Food, Growers Shine At AgriCULTURED

Tasmanian Government

agriCULTURED will return to Northern Tasmania in November, shining a light on the region’s producers, growers, food, culture and communities.

Minister for Tourism, Hospitality and Events, Roger Jaensch, said events like agriCULTURED play an important role in attracting visitors to Northern Tasmania and supporting the region’s tourism industry.

“From the paddock to plate, the world wants what Tassie’s got,” Minister Jaensch said.

“agriCULTERED celebrates some of our finest beverage makers, growers, producers, and farmers from across Northern Tasmania, giving visitors another reason to explore our amazing State.

“The festival is part of a broader calendar of outstanding events that are encouraging people to explore every corner of Tasmania.

“Through our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future, we are investing in events that drive visitation, support local businesses and help keep our economy strong, including the one in six Tasmanians employed in the tourism and hospitality industry.”

A major component of this year’s program is the UNESCO Creative Cities Network Sister City Exchange Program, which will commence during this year’s agriCULTURED festival and run over the next three years.

The inaugural exchange welcomes a delegation from Kelowna, Canada, which was designated as Canada’s first UNESCO City of Gastronomy in 2025.

agriCULTURED will run from 5–8 November 2026 in Launceston and surrounds.
